Steve Wolfard is the chief principle designer and partner at W Golf Design. Since 1987, he has focused on golf architecture, construction, agronomics and how these elements impact both the playability of the game and the successes of projects he has worked. He has lead or collaborated on projects throughout the world and it is this personal and balanced approach that Wolfard brings to your project as a partner that is built on the fundament principle of trust.
Philosophy
Players enjoy breathtaking views, lush fairways and perfect scoring conditions. It is the design teams’ responsibility to enrich the layout by taking the natural landscape and molding it into a golf course that grows the game for all ages and skills. From the smallest detail to the large-scale project WGD’s multi-faceted approach is evident in every project.
